Masked ball at Ca' Rezzonico
TOUR DESCRIPTION
This engaging scavenger hunt takes place in one of the most sumptuous palaces of Venice, Ca’ Rezzonico, which is nowadays the Museum of the 18th century. Situated in the picturesque Dorsoduro district, this building houses luminous frescoes by Gianbattista Tiepolo and important works of art representing a very special moment of the Venetian history: the amazing decadence! This scavenger hunt is an opportunity for the whole family to learn not only about Carnival, but also about theatre and the Commedia dell’Arte, a particular theatrical genre based on costumed characters, that in the 18th century, was enhanced by the famous Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni.
