As well as being a local who knows the hidden corners and interesting anecdotes, great shops and the best restaurants to go to, we have an in-depth knowledge of all the artistic and historical heritage of our city, since we are certified tourist guides of Venice. In fact, we both have a university degree and we passed the examination given by the public tourist authority to assess and test the knowledge in terms of history, art, architecture, museums, churches, and the list goes on. Being a native is not enough to be a good guide, especially in Italy where the cultural heritage is so wide and thick. For a real travel experience, beware of off-the-cuff guides without a school and training background. Always ask for the quality you deserve, always ask for a certified tourist guide! But even better if you find a knowledgeable and entertaining one!
