Water and stones: a tour along the Grand Canal

This guided tour is organized exclusively by private water taxi: a motor launch is small and flexible enough to navigate not only the Grand Canal but also the fascinating minor canals, far from the busiest routes. This allows you to discover quieter corners of the city that are rarely visited by tourists, to appreciate Venice from an unusual perspective, and to take fantastic photos while comfortably seated outside, listening to your guide’s live commentary and stories about the city’s history and daily life. In case you want to do this tour independently, you may also use a public water bus, the Vaporetto: there is line nr 1 that runs along the Grand Canal, much cheaper than a taxi but often overcrowded.
