From travel agent to family-friendly guide in Venice

My journey into tourism began over twenty years ago, when I started working as a travel agent. After earning my degree in Foreign Languages and Literature at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, I qualified as a Travel Assistant and Licensed Technical Manager of a Travel Agency.
However, sitting behind a desk was never quite my style. Curious by nature and always eager to explore, I chose a different path and began working as a freelancer.

From passion for Venice to family-friendly tours

After several years of experience working with different travel operators, I founded my first website, guide-venice/en, and began selling my tours directly to independent travelers, including families with children.

I soon realized how much I enjoyed working with kids — they are a real challenge! This led me to create venicekidstours.com, where I started offering my first scavenger hunts, which quickly became the core of my business.

A big step forward came when Federica joined the adventure. With her creative vision, the design of our game materials improved greatly and our scavenger hunts evolved into more visually engaging and child-friendly experiences, allowing us to refine existing tours and create new ones that are even more immersive and fun.

A shared experience for parents and children

Our tours are designed to keep the whole family engaged: children feel included and curious, parents feel relaxed and enriched, and Venice becomes a place of shared discovery rather than a rushed checklist of monuments.

Today, guiding families through Venice is not just my profession — it is a privilege. Every walk through the city is an opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage imagination, and create lasting memories for families visiting Venice with children
