Why are masks so popular in Venice?
Venice is the homeland of Carnival and offers countless mask shops of every kind. During your stay, you can step into the intriguing world of disguise by joining a short mask-painting workshop. Choose from around 20 plain white papier-mâché masks and learn the techniques for backgrounds and decorations. Once finished, your mask will be dried, glazed, and carefully packed for you to take home.

Murano blowing glass made the glory of Venice and it is simply amazing… If you don’t have time to visit Murano, you can still see a glass factory downtown — and it’s completely free!
