My name’s Giacomo Casanova and I was born in Venice almost 200 years ago. I had a long and adventurous life and my name remains synonymous with the art of seduction.

My mother worked in a theatre where I learnt to consider myself as an actor performing in the big stage of life: therefore, I decided to become the master of the art of living without working!

Unfortunately, one day, the Council of X locked me in one of the cells under the roof of the Doge’s Palace: nobody told why and nobody told me for how long I was supposed to stay in jail! Outrageous! They wanted to drive me crazy but after an unsuccessful attempt, I found the way to escape!

They kept me in jail for some minor crimes but the real reason of my detention was never proved and this still makes me laugh!

Are you smart enough to solve all the riddles and find the truth? Are you cleverer than the old State’s Inquisitors?

Follow your guide to learn more about my incredible adventure in the Doge’s Palace and if you succeed to solve all the riddles you’ll find out the crime I was accused of. Good luck!
